The paper summarized the types and performance of scale inhibitors.Based on the experimental results of scholars and research groups,the mechanism of scale inhibitors was reviewed.The purpose is to strengthen the understanding of scale inhibition mechanism and provide theoretical guidance for the design and synthesis of scale inhibitor molecular structure in the future.
