摘要
Ellis认为频率是语言习得的关键,也有学者认为频率效应忽略了语言的新颖度、凸显度以及学习者自身的主动性等。对此,模因学对频率效应在二语习得中的有效性和局限性提供了理论支撑,并从模因复合体的角度提出频率效应要适度关联内容的新颖性和形式上的多模态,从而更好地在二语习得中发挥积极作用。
Ellis holds that frequency is the key in language acquisition while some other scholars criticize the neglect of the learners’initiative and other related language features,such as originality,salience,economy etc.Memetics,from its own theoretical framework,supports the effectiveness of frequency and points out the limitations as well.Besides,according to the concept of memeplex,frequency in Second Language Acquisition should combine other language features such as originality and multimodality to facilitate its positive effects.
