A Study on Indian English Teaching Based on the Language Transfer Perspective

由于邮轮乘务工作的特殊性,为提高学生毕业后的就业竞争力,印度英语的变体需要在我国高校海乘英语教学中加以应用。印度英语与标准英语既有差异性又有共性。根据认知结构迁移理论,迁移可以分为正迁移和负迁移。本文探讨了包括运用对比教学法在内的一系列方法,以期提升印度英语的教学水平。

The graduates working on a cruise ship require Indian English skills.In order to improve the competitiveness of the graduates majoring in the international cruise crew management,the variant of Indian English needs to be applied in the teaching of international cruise crew English.According to the language transfer perspective,transfer can be divided into positive transfer and negative transfer.This paper discusses a series of methods,including comparative teaching method,to improve the teaching level of Indian English.
