基于语料库的汉泰颜色词“黄”隐喻与转喻对比分析

A Comparison Analysis on Metaphor and Metonymy of Chinese and Thai Color Word“Yellow”Based on Corpus

从概念隐喻与转喻出发,基于汉泰两个语料库,对汉泰基本颜色词"黄"的隐喻与转喻进行了对比研究,结果发现汉语"黄"的隐喻比泰语的内容更丰富,而泰语"黄"的概念转喻的能产性明显高于隐喻义。汉泰基本颜色词"黄"隐喻与转喻的共性也体现出的汉泰两国人民的基本认知体验具有普遍性,其差异性源于地域环境及文化背景的不同。最后本研究对汉泰语颜色词教学提出了一些建议。

This study conducts a comparison study on the metaphor and metonymy of the basic color word"yellow"in Chinese and Thai language based on the principal idea of metaphor and metonymy and the linguistic corpora of Chinese and Thai language.The study demonstrates that,in comparison to"yellow"in Thai language,the metaphor of"yellow"in Chinese language is comparatively richer in term of meaning,while the metonymy of"yellow"in Thai language obviously has a stronger capability to produce.Furthermore,the differentation of the basic color word"yellow"in Chinese and Thai language also proves the resemblance of common knowledge of Chinese and Thai people in which the differences in geographical,environmental and cultural background play an important role in the characteristics unique to both languages.Lastly,the study also provides some opinions on the teaching of the basic color words in Chinese-Thai language.
