A Brief Review of China,s World History Study in the Past 70 Years--Research Perspectives and Their Evolution

对建国70年来中国的世界史研究进行回顾,可以重点讨论五个时期的研究视域、方法和路径。20世纪50至70年代,是中国世界史书写体系的开创时期,表现出一种人类史和普遍史的路径。20世纪80年代,人类学意义上的文化概念和现代化理论帮助中国学者对中国和世界历史进程进行再认识。20世纪90年代,在后现代主义思潮的影响下,中国学者站在更高的层次上对过去建构的历史知识进行反思,并努力从欧洲中心论中解脱出来。进入新世纪直至2016年,更新的全球史、跨国史和跨文化研究的路径在中国世界史书写中逐渐扩展开来。论文最后讨论了近三四年来随着"中国进入世界历史"而出现的一系列新的研究问题,并对70年来中国世界史研究取得的长足进展进行了积极的评价。

The thesis briefly reviews China's world history research in the 70 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China,focusing on its approach,perspective and research methods of the five periods it divided.The 1950s to 1970s is the pioneering period of the Chinese world history study,characterized by an approach of universal history.In the 1980s,cultural concepts in the anthropological sense and modernization theories helped Chinese scholars in their reinterpretation of the history of China and the world.In the 1990s,under the influence of the post-modernism,Chinese scholars reflected on historical knowledge constructed in the past from a higher viewpoint,and worked hard to free themselves from Euro-centrism.Entering the new century until 2016,new pattern of writings,such as global history,transnational history,and cross-cultural research has gradually expanded in the Chinese writing of world history.The thesis finally discussed a series of new research issues that have emerged with the“China's entry into world history”in the past three or four years,and made a positive evaluation of the progress made in China*s world history research in the past 70 years.
