德国功能派翻译理论指导下医学论文摘要英译中人称代词选用探究

On the Using of Personal Pronouns in C-E Translation of Abstracts in Medical Thesis from the Perspective of Functionalist Translation Theory

的英译对于整篇论文的内容和结构都有着举足轻重的作用。研究发现国内学者在医学论文摘要英译中第一人称和第三人称代词的使用存在分歧。基于德国功能派翻译理论的目的论和文本类型翻译论,通过自建医学期刊摘要语料库数据分析,发现国外本土医学论文摘要使用第一人称代词具有普遍性。故选用第一人称代词是可行的,既有理论依据也符合国外科技论文格式要求,利于促进国内外医学学术交流。

The translation of abstract in Chinese medical thesis is vital both for its structure and content.It is found that there is much disagreement on the use of personal pronouns in medical academic thesis.Based on the two major theories of German functionalist translation theory(Skopostheory and text type translation theory),referring to the data analysis of the self-built corpus on medical journal abstracts,it is found that it is common to use first personal pronouns in foreign academic journals.Thus with theoretical foundation,using first personal pronouns in C-E translation of abstracts in medical thesis is feasible,which can meet the requirements of foreign academic essays as well as help to promote medical exchange home and abroad.
