In this article,current status of the standardization work in seawater desalination industry is summarized,the role and influence of standardization work on industry development are expounded and the main existing problems in standardization work have also been analyzed.At last,the countermeasures and suggestions for the development of standardization work in future seawater desalination industry are pointed out.
