The Regional Division and Research Value of Origin Myths in Kam-Tai Ethnic Groups

台语民族分布在中国南部及东南亚的广阔地带。在田野调查及文献整理的基础上,台语民族族源神话可被划分为6大区域。它们各有特色,又有着深厚的共同信仰与文化基础。对族源神话的梳理与探索,有助于中国与东南亚国家的友好往来、民心相通。

The Kam-Tai ethnic groups are distributed in south China and the vast area of southeast Asia.On the basis of fieldwork and literature compilation,the origin myths of Kam-Tai ethnic groups can be divided into six regions.They not only have their own characteristics,but also share common beliefs and cultural traditions.The carding and exploration of the myths of ethnic origin will help China’s friendly exchanges with the people of southeast Asia.
