广西城市综合竞争力实证研究

An Empirical Study on the Comprehensive Competitiveness of Guangxi

城市综合竞争力是区域发展程度的重要体现,研究以广西区14个地级市为研究对象,从5个维度选取19个指标,运用主成分分析法对广西城市综合竞争力进行实证研究。研究发现:广西各城市综合竞争力存在较大差异,且各城市综合得分排名与各主成分得分排名差异较大。最后提出相应建议,一是加强基础设施建设,提高公共服务水平;二是不断优化产业结构,扩大对外开放程度。

Urban comprehensive competitiveness is an important reflection of regional development.The present research takes 14 cities in Guangxi as the research objects,selects 19 indicators from five dimensions,and uses the principal component analysis method to conduct an empirical study on Guangxi’s urban comprehensive competitiveness.It is found that there are great differences in the comprehensive competitiveness of cities in Guangxi,and there are great differences between the comprehensive score ranking of cities and the principal component score ranking of cities.Finally,corresponding improvement suggestions will be submitted.First,we should strengthen infrastructure construction and improve public services;Second,we should continue to optimize the industrial structure and open up wider to the outside world.
