A Study on college English faculty development based on Flipped Classroom

该研究从翻转课堂角度探讨大学英语教师发展的必要性。在"互联网+"时代,教师成长为"智慧"学习者是把学生培养成自主学习者的前提。从建构主义学习理论出发,论证了教师的可持续学习能力对大学英语教学生态的可持续发展和终身学习型社会的构建具有关键性作用。翻转课堂和教师发展的研究可以齐头并进,互相促进。

This paper has studied the necessity of college English faculty development. In the "Internet+" era, the prerequisite for cultivating autonomous learners is that the teachers have al-ready become "smart" learners. From the perspective of constructivism, it concludes that tea-chers’ sustainable learning competence is the key to the sustainability of college English ecology and the construction of a lifelong learning society. The research of "Flipped Classroom" and "fa-culty development" could progress together and promote each other.
