基于修辞资源与受众的高校网页简介英译失误分析——以东南地区部分985高校为例

摘要 从新修辞框架内的“修辞资源”以及受众角度出发,以中国东南地区部分“985”高校网页简介为研究范本,从译文内容可信度、诉求策略、话语方式构建等方面,分析东南地区部分高校网页简介英译中存在的失误,并通过参照高校网页简介平行文本,探讨修辞对高校网页简介英译的启示。基于修辞资源,并针对受众角度对高校网页简介英译进行剖析,旨在有效提高高校网页的翻译质量与话语水平,提高高校网页简介内容的信服度,提升高校网页简介翻译对受众的感染力,从而使更多的国际受众通过网页简介了解相关学校,取得良好的对外宣传效果。 This paper attempts to analyze C-E translation errors of website introductions in ten“985 Project”colleges in southeastern region of China.It works from the perspectives of“rhetorical resources”and“audience”in new rhetoric and analyzes from the perspectives of credibility of translation,appealing strategies,and construction of discourse.It offers implications for translation of website introductions by referring to parallel texts of college websites.By analyzing the C-E translation and the audience on the basis of rhetorical resources,this paper aims at improving the quality and credibility of translation,discourse of website introductions as well as enhancing the appeal of them among the audience.Therefore,it can attract more students to have a better understanding of the university,so as to increase the popularity of the university.
