加拿大高校图书馆空间建设现状研究

A Research on the Current Situation of the Space Construction of Canadian Academic Libraries

文章分析加拿大高校图书馆的空间建设现状。运用网络调查法、邮件调查法,总结出8所加拿大高校图书馆所建设的基本空间类型包括公共学习空间、信息共享空间、一站式学术空间、展示与休闲空间四大类。采取的空间保障措施主要包括建立空间预约制度、设计身份认证程序、重视空间高效利用、建设空间馆员团队。认为我国高校图书馆应改善学习设施,构建友好环境;发挥馆员作用,嵌入信息技术;重视需求调查,建设包容空间;开展科研服务,建设学术空间;重视资源分配,维护空间环境。

The article analyzes the development status of the space construction of academic libraries in Canada.Using the network survey method and the mail survey method,it is concluded that the space types set by the eight Canadian university libraries include public learning space,information sharing space,one-stop academic space,and display and leisure space.The space security measures adopted mainly include establishing a space reservation system,setting up an identity certification procedure,attaching importance to environmental maintenance in the library,and providing librarian mediation services.It is believed that Chinese university libraries should improve learning facilities and build a friendly environment;play the role of librarians,and embed information technology;attach importance to demand investigation and build inclusive space;carry out scientific research services and build academic space;attach importance to resource allocation and maintain space environment.
