信念、信仰、信心与理想属于价值观念范畴,处于价值观中最深层次,是价值观的集中表现形态。对马克思主义的信仰,对社会主义和共产主义的信念,是共产党人的政治灵魂,是共产党人经受住任何考验的精神支柱。坚定理想信念,坚守共产党人精神追求,始终是共产党人安身立命的根本。无论过去、现在还是将来,对马克思主义的信仰,对中国特色社会主义的信念,对实现中华民族伟大复兴中国梦的信心,都是指引和支撑中国人民站起来、富起来、强起来的强大精神力量。今天,衡量一名共产党员、一名领导干部是否具有共产主义远大理想,是有客观标准的,那就要看他能否坚持全心全意为人民服务的根本宗旨,能否吃苦在前、享受在后,能否勤奋工作、廉洁奉公,能否为理想而奋不顾身去拼搏、去奋斗、去献出自己的全部精力乃至生命。新的时代条件下,必须深刻领会共产党人理想信念新的内涵,深刻理解共产党人理想信念的价值定位,深刻把握共产党人理想信念的衡量标准,筑牢思想根基、强固精神支柱。

Faith,belief,confidence and ideal all belong to the category of values,which are at the deepest level and are the concentrated manifestation of values.Faith in Marxism,Socialism and Communism is the political soul of the Communists and the spiritual pillar for them to withstand any challenge.Adherence to ideals and beliefs,and the spiritual pursuits of the Communist Party,has always been the foundation to the Communists.Faith in Marxism,the belief in Socialism with Chinese characteristics and the confidence in realizing the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation were,are,will all be the powerful spiritual forces that guide and support the Chinese people to stand up,get rich and become strong.Today,there are objective criteria for measuring whether a Communist Party member or a leading cadre has the lofty ideal of Communism.It depends on whether he can adhere to the fundamental tenet of serving the people wholeheartedly,whether he can endure hardship before pleasure,whether he can work hard and honestly perform his official duties,whether he can fight,struggle,and dedicate all his energy and even the life for the realization of the deal.Given the conditions of the modern era,we must deeply understand the new connotation of Communists’ideals and beliefs,comprehend the value orientation of their ideals and beliefs,grasp the measurement standard of it,and build the ideological foundation and strengthen the spiritual pillar.
