摘要
通过对比施加与未施加控冷环缝式电磁搅拌(IC-AEMS)熔体均匀化处理技术,对Al-Zn-Mg-Cu合金初生Al3Zr相的析出行为以及组织细化的影响进行了研究。结果表明,施加IC-AEMS后,Al3Zr粒子形貌从大尺寸针状与板状变成细小弥散分布的块状;此外,相比未施加IC-AEMS处理的Al-Zn-Mg-Cu合金的凝固组织,施加IC-AEMS后,合金细化效果与组织均匀性得到提高,平均晶粒尺寸由387μm减小至218μm。
In order to understand influence of internal cooling with annular electromagnetic stirring(IC-AEMS)treatment,the precipitation behavior of the primary Al3Zr phase and the solidification structure of Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloy,was investigated by optical microscope(OM)and scanning electron microscope(SEM).The results show that with IC-AEMS,the morphology of Al3Zr particles is transformed from needle and plate-like to small and finely distributed blocks.Compared with the microstructure of the Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloy without IC-AEMS,the refining effect and uniformity of the microstructure is improved greatly with IC-AEMS treatment,where the average grain size is reduced from 387μm to 218μm.
