摘要
叶黄素是一种类胡萝卜素,广泛存在于蔬菜、水果、花卉和某些藻类生物中。原料易得,价格低廉,作为一种多功能因子在食品、药品、保健品等领域的应用具有巨大的潜力和良好的开发前景。人体无法自身合成叶黄素,必须由膳食中摄取或补充,其可在抗氧化、调节脂质代谢、抗炎和保护血管内皮细胞等方面对心血管具有明显的保护效应。本文就叶黄素预防心血管疾病的研究进展进行综述,旨为叶黄素进一步临床应用提供参考依据。
Lutein is a carotenoid, which is widely found in vegetables, fruits, flowers and some algae. Because the raw materials are easy to obtain and the price is low, as a multi-functional factor, lutein has great potential and good development prospects in the fields of food, medicine, and health products. It can’t be synthesized by human body, and must be ingested or supplemented by diet. It has obvious protective effects on cardiovascular diseases in aspects of antioxidation, regulation of lipid metabolism,anti-inflammation and protection of vascular endothelial cells. This article reviews lutein’s preventive effects of cardiovascular diseases and provides reference for further clinical application of lutein.
