Objective To explore the application effect of individualized perioperative nursing in patients with thoracolumbar spinal tuberculosis. Methods Seventy-two patients with thoracolumbar spinal tuberculosis who underwent surgical treatment in our hospital from March 2018 to February 2019 were divided into control group and study group according to the random number table method, with 36 cases in each group. The control group received basic nursing, and the study group received individualized perioperative nursing. The nursing effects of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the VAS score of the study group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05);the total incidence of complications in the study group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The scores of service quality, communication interpretation and service process in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of eating, bathing, grooming, dressing, controlling bowel movements, controlling urination, toileting, bed and chair transfer, walking flat, walking up and down stairs in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion When surgical treatment is given to patients with thoracolumbar spinal tuberculosis, strengthening individualized nursing interventions in perioperative period can improve the pain relief effect, reduce postoperative complications, and improve the daily activities of patients.
