摘要
文章利用2013年中国计生委流动人口动态监测调查数据,运用倾向得分匹配的方法对中国工会会员身份是否会导致工资溢价进行了分析。发现从总体上来看,中国工会会员和非会员的工资收入没有显著差异;从单位性质和行业的角度来看,工会覆盖率更高的单位和行业中的工会对雇员工资水平也没有显著的影响;在较低的收入水平上,工会导致了3.3%的较为显著的工资溢价,在其他收入水平上均没有显著的影响。文章的结果表明中国工会的会员身份没有导致工资溢价。
This paper employs propensity score matching method to analysis whether union membership would lead to wage premium in China with data from NPFCP in 2013.This paper finds that there was no significant wage difference between union member and non-union member in China on the whole.And there was no significant influence on employees’wage from unit property and industry with higher union coverage either.Considering the sample with lower income,union membership resulted in a wage premium of 3.3%,and no significant difference was found at other income level.The result got in this paper shows that union membership did not lead to wage premium in China.At last,this paper gives two suggestions on the development of the trade union in China.
