On the Horizontal Fusion of Translators,Editors and Target Readers in Literary Translating and Publishing

在文学作品翻译出版的过程中,译者是翻译主体,编辑是出版主体,目标读者是接受主体。译者带着自己的先见与编辑和目标读者进行直接或间接的沟通,逐渐达成视域的融合。这种视域融合是动态变化的,在融合过程中,译者不断修正自己对原作的理解、逐步改善自己的翻译策略和翻译方法,最终使译作符合编辑的期待以及目标读者的期待,进而更好地实现文学翻译出版的社会价值。

In the translating and publishing of literary works,translators are the subject of translation activity,editors the subject of publication and target readers the acceptance subject.With pre-structure in the mind,translators interact with editors and target readers in direct or indirect ways,getting their horizons fused.The fusion of horizons is dynamic,and during the fusion translators are constantly improving their understanding of the original works,and improving their translation strategies and methods,making the translated works meet the expectation of editors and target readers.In this way,the social value of the translating and publishing of literary works can be better realized.
