Gaming and Regulating:A Gender Configuration Study on Shakespeare’s the Taming of the Shrew

在《驯悍记》中,莎士比亚进行了一系列与父权制婚姻博弈相关的叙事。在父权制婚姻关系缔结前,男性个体之间展开以女性个体为标的物的博弈,博弈的核心是取得女性个体的所有权;父权制婚姻关系缔结后,在家庭场域的婚姻生活中,男性个体与女性个体又展开一系列权力博弈,这里的博弈表现为男性个体对女性个体进行父权式规训。《驯悍记》的博弈叙事建构均以父权社会文化的性别形象建构为基础,揭示的是男性对女性个体主张属权关系的社会化过程。

In the Taming of the Shrew,Shakespeare conducted a series of narrative around the gaming in patriarchal marriage.Before the marriage,the male characters in the play carried out a series of gaming targeting the female as the subject matter.The essence of the gamings was to take charge of the ownership of female.After the marriage,in the family life,the male character and the female character in the play started another series of gaming.The essence of the gaming was to socially regulate the female character in patriarchal society.The gender configuration politics of patriarchal society is the basis of the gaming narratives in The Taming of the Shrew,which reveal the socialization of the male’s ownership on the female in the contemporary society.
