互联网发展对区域创新效率影响的动力机制研究

Research on the Dynamic Mechanism of the Internet Development’ Impact on Regional Innovation Efficiency

通过构建互联网发展水平对区域创新效率影响的动力机制模型,并基于2006-2016年中国30个省区市面板数据,对区域互联网发展水平与区域创新效率进行测度,实证检验我国互联网发展水平对区域创新效率的影响。结果表明:我国互联网发展水平对区域创新效率具有显著的促进作用,已成为当前推动区域创新效率提升的重要动力源泉;互联网发展水平对东中西部地区区域创新效率的影响具有显著空间异质性,对东部地区的促进作用效果明显,中部地区次之,西部地区最弱;互联网发展水平作用于东中西部地区区域创新效率具有时滞性,未能对当期区域创新效率的提升发挥作用。

This paper measures both the level of regional Internet development and regional innovation efficiency based on the panel data of 30 Chinese provinces from 2006 to 2016. Then, a dynamic mechanism model is constructed to empirically analyze the impact of Internet development on regional innovation efficiency. The results show that current Internet development level in China has play a significant role in promoting regional innovation efficiency and even has become an essential power source to boost regional innovation efficiency. The impact of Internet development level on regional innovation efficiency is significantly spatial heterogeneous between the eastern, central and western parts of China. The eastern part has experienced the most obvious promotion function of the internet while the western region the weakest. Besides, there is a time lag for the Internet development to improve regional innovation efficiency which makes it fail to function in the current period.
