异化、归化,何去何从--对翻译的再认识

Alienation or Adaptation?--Re-understanding of Translation

随着全球经济的发展,国际间文化交流的势头会越来越强;作为国际间文化交流的媒介之一的翻译也会越来越注重对其中所涉及的文化因素的处理。异化、归化作为两种主要的翻译策略受到了很多学者的重视。本文试图在对异化、归化发展进行回顾的基础上,进一步揭示异化、归化选择的根本决定因素,同时对三种特殊情境异化、归化的选择做了具体说明,旨在最终找出翻译处理的变化过程。

With the development of the global economy,the tendency of the cultural exchanges among different countries will become increasingly conspicuous;as one of the media by which the international cultural exchanges carry on,more and more emphasis will be put on the translation of typical cultural expressions. Alienation and adaptation,as two major translation methods,have caught lots of scholars’ attention. This paper,on the basis of reviewing the development of alienation and adaptation,attempts to uncover the decisive factors when making choices between alienation and adaptation in translation and specifically expounds how to make choices under three special conditions in order to finally find its general changing process.
