This paper introduces the process principles of Shell Pulverized Coal Gasification,the design concept,structural parameters,slag overflow form and operation window of the burner cover,analyzes the causes of damage on the burner cover and puts forward maintenance strategies of the burner cover from the aspects of coal quality analysis,coal line control,cooling water guarantee of the burner cover,setting of oxygen-coal ratio,load adjustment,etc.
