Objective To investigate the difference in physical and neuropsychological development between preterm infants at corrected age of one year and full-term infants aged one year, and to analyze the influencing factors of development quotient in preterm infants at corrected age of one year. Methods A total of 107 preterm infants and 103 healthy full-term infants were recruited. The physical and neuropsychological development was compared between preterm infants at corrected age of one year and full-term infants aged one year, and the influencing factors of development quotient in preterm infants at corrected age of one year were analyzed. Results The preterm infants at corrected age of one year exhibited shorter height, less weight, smaller head circumference and lower neuropsychological development level as compared with the full-term infants aged one year(all P<0.05).Weight at birth and feeding method were the influencing factors of abnormal development quotient of preterm infants(all P<0.05).Conclusion In comparison with the full-term infants, the preterm infants at corrected age of one year have retarded physical and neuropsychological development. For multiple factors might influence the neuropsychological development of the preterm infants,it is necessary to enhance follow-up monitoring of pre-term infants and to provide scientific intervention and guidance.
