Prevention and control experience of one case of suspected novel coronavirus pneumonia in ICU of non-designated hospital

目的探讨非定点医院重症医学科(ICU)接收新型冠状病毒肺炎疑似病例时的感染防控及工作要求,为规范防控提供依据。方法对绵阳市中心医院重症医学科2020年1月17日收治的1例新型冠状病毒肺炎疑似病例的收治、隔离、诊治过程进行分析,特别关注患者隔离、医务人员隔离及全病区隔离时的紧急隔离流程建立和运行。结果紧急隔离流程通畅、有效;隔离患者及其他在院患者的诊疗护理工作有序完成,病区无诊疗护理安全事件发生。结论提高对新型冠状病毒肺炎疑似病例的早期识别,及时实施隔离措施,做好感染防控和医务人员个人防护,是科学应对疫情的有效措施。

Objective To discuss the infection prevention and control requirements of suspected cases of new coronavirus pneumonia received by ICU in non-designated hospitals, so as to provide a basis for standardized prevention and control. Methods The process of admission, isolation, and diagnosis and treatment of a suspected case of new coronavirus pneumonia admitted to ICU, Mianyang Central Hospital on January 17, 2020 was analyzed, with special attention to the establishment and operation of emergency isolation procedures during the isolation of patients, medical staff,and the whole ward. Results The emergency isolation process was smooth and effective. The treatment and nursing work of isolated patients and other patients in the hospital was completed in an orderly manner. Conclusion It is effective to respond to the epidemic by early identification of suspected cases of new coronavirus pneumonia, timely implementation of isolation measures, strict prevention and control of infection, and personal protection of medical personnel.
