电影《山河故人》中的民俗事象及其文化意蕴

《山河故人》是贾樟柯的代表作之一,影片中出现了颇为丰富的民俗事象。这些民俗事象包括南薰楼、文峰塔等建筑民俗事象;秧歌、威风锣鼓等为代表的民间文艺民俗事象;汾酒、花馍、麦穗饺子等饮食民俗事象,此外影片中还展现了关公崇拜这一民间信仰。这些民俗事象有着四个方面的文化意蕴:呈现了时代变迁下小县城人们的困顿与坚守;构建了一种饱含乡情与认同感的文化空间;调剂了民众的日常生活,把狂欢与日常有机地结合了起来;包孕了深厚的传统文化,并通过一系列仪式及规范展现出来。这些民俗事象不仅能让我们在影片营建的世界里感受到黄土地上的独特风情,而且带领着我们在时间和空间的交织中寻找情与美。

The Old Man is one of the masterpieces of Jia Zhangke,which has rich folk customs’images,including Nanshun Tower,Wenfeng Pagoda,Yangko,Gong and drum,Fen wine,flowery steamed bun,wheat ear jiaozi and the worshiping for Guan Yu.These images have four aspects’culture connotations,the predicament and insistence of small town people,a culture space of countryside feeling and recognition,a change of folk people’s daily life and a combination of carnival with everyday life,and profound traditional culture performed by a series of rites and regulations.These images can help us appreciate the special customs in the yellow plateau and trace love and beauty in the intersection of time and space.
