“玩命”的副词化探析

Exploration of the Adverbialization of“Wanming”

分析了当代媒体语言中“玩命”由动词向副词演化的过程,阐述了动词“玩命1”到副词“玩命4”在共时演变中构成了一个逐步虚化的连续统:“玩命2”和“玩命3”实义性逐步减弱,修饰性逐步增强,“玩命4”的虚化程度最高。这与“死”类动词虚化的方向大体一致。提出了“玩命”的副词语义可表示主观上尽最大力的情状和主观高程度,语用上可表示夸张、戏谑、娱乐的附加色彩。

This paper analyzes an evolution of the word“wanming”from a verb to an adverb in the contemporary media language,and proposes that a continuum which is gradually grammaticalized is constructed in the synchronic evolution of verb“wanming 1”to adverb“wanming 4”.It believes that the actual meanings of“wanming 2”and“wanming 3”gradually weaken and their decorativeness gradually increases,while“wanming 4”has the highest level of grammaticalization.This is mainly consistent with the grammaticalization tendency of“die”related verbs.It proposes that“wanming”as an adverb has the meaning of“doing one's best”and“higher level of devotion”,and can functionally express additional emotional colors like exaggeration,irony and amusement.
