Innovation and Practice in Fashion Design Education——Rhode Island School of Design Europian Study Tour

本文采用记叙文体形式,分享罗德岛设计学院欧洲游学——鞋设计实践课程的经历(Wintersession Travel Course)。国际设计名校在现代艺术设计教育中越来越聚焦于对学生综合素质与创造性思维的塑造和培养趋势,并以美、欧设计教育中所采用特色课程模式实现现代时尚设计教育中的创新与实践。阐释了将激发学习兴趣、拓展国际化视野、培养综合素质,鼓励跨界学习与重视专业实践,作为学生创新力培养的关键要素。

This paper shares the experience of Rhode Island School of Design’s Wintersession course of European shoe design study tour.It introduces the trend that top international design schools are increasingly focusing on the shaping and cultivation of students’comprehensive quality and creative thinking in modern art and design education and realizes the modern fashion design education with the characteristic course mode adopted in the American and European design education Innovation and practice.It is explained that the key elements of cultivating students’innovation ability are to expand their international vision,encourage interdisciplinary learning,stimulate learning interest,establish a comprehensive quality and attach importance to professional practice.
