Considering the practical needs in the North Canal basin,the key tasks and targets of establishing a river basin information management system are analyzed,in the context of collecting data for the implementation of river chief system.The framework of river information collection,data resource,network transmission and business application system are formed accordingly in order to provide technical support for the full implementation of river chief system in the North Canal basin.
