沙特阿拉伯插头插座标准SASO 2203:2018于2018年3月正式发布,是在2015版大变更基础上的最终版本,对出口沙特的插头插座设计开发提出了严格要求。为避免设计者由于对插头插座标准变化了解不足而造成设计缺陷,分析了标准的起源演变过程,阐述了标准与BS 1363标准的渊源和差异,解析常见不符合情况和预警其潜在的更新影响等方式,总结了标准对于产品设计生产的影响,可为插头插座出口沙特的设计制造提供参考和建议,同时引导原出口英式插头插座国家和地区制造商产品转型和贸易避险。

The Saudi Arabian plug-and-socket standard SASO2203:2018 was officially published in March 2018.It is the final version based on the 2015 version of the major changes,and puts strict requirements on the design and development of the plugs and sockets for exporting to Saudi Arabia.In order to avoid the design flaws caused by plug and socket designers due to misunderstanding,this paper summarized the impact of standards on product design and production by analyzing the origin evolution of the standard,explaining the origin and differences of the standard and the BS1363 standard,analyzing the common non-compliance and warning the potential update impact.It is hoped that it will provide reference and suggestion for the design and manufacture of the plug and socket exported to Saudi Arabia,and guide the manufacturers of the original exported to British plug and socket countries and regions to carry out product transformation and trade hedging.
