明代边防研究综述

A Review of Border Defense Studies in Ming Dynasty

在明代边防史的视域下,学术界对边防总体性研究(如军制史、军事史、边防史、边防学、边疆经略史),区域性研究(如北部边防、河套地区、“九边”、海防),专题性研究(如军制、卫所制度、战事、军事思想、后勤保障)都进行了不同程度的探讨,取得了丰硕的成果。此外,在民族研究(如民族政策、土司制度)及中外关系史的史志文献资料中也有与明代滇西边防相关的材料,需多留心注意。综观以往的学术成果,我们可以发现,学界在北部边防的研究上取得了令人瞩目的成绩,但在滇西边防的研究上则稍显薄弱,这为我们的研究留下了可观的研究空间。

In the perspective of the history o￡border defense in Ming Dynasty,the academic circles have made various explorations on the overall,regional and thematic researchof border defense and have achieved fruitful results.The overall research includes the history of military system,military history,border defense history,border defense science and brief history of border economy;the regional research covers the northern border defense,Hetao area,Nine garrisons of the Ming dynasty and coastal defense;and the thematic research focuses on military system,guard post system,war,military thought and logistic support.In addition,the national researchsuch as national policy,chieftain system and the Annals of literature history o￡foreign relations also have materials related to the western Yunnan border defence of Ming Dynasty,which need more attention.Making a comprehensive survey of the past academic achievements,we can see that academia has made remarkable achievements in the study of the northern border defence,but it is slightly weak in the study of western Yunnan border defence,which leaves considerable room for our research.
