On Beauty of Tea:An Aesthetic View of Tea Art

长期以来茶文化学术界对茶与艺术领域的研究,往往是对以茶为题材的各种艺术作品的收集,从而进行历史学角度的研究。涉及茶美学方面的研究又往往停留在诸如“精行俭德”“廉美和静”等茶文化的精神内核与道德范畴上。实际上,茶文化的艺术是茶美学的外在表现,而茶美学也正是茶千百年来始终成为经典艺术主题的内在原因。本文在将茶文化艺术分为书画、音乐、雕塑、建筑、戏剧、文学、影视、茶席、茶器九个大类后,通过解读茶艺术作品来探讨茶美学的特质。

For a long time,the research on tea and art in the academic circle of tea culture is usually the historical research through the collection of various artistic works with tea as the theme.Studies on tea aesthetics often concern the spiritual core and moral category of tea culture,such as“being meticulous and frugal”,and“honesty,beauty,harmony,esteem”.In fact,the art of tea culture is the external expression of tea aesthetics,which is also the internal reason why tea has been a classic art theme for thousands of years.This paper classifies the art of tea culture into nine categories:calligraphy and painting,music,sculpture,architecture,drama,literature,film and television,tea site and tea ware,and explores the characteristics of tea aesthetics through the interpretation of tea art works.
