Innovation and Transformation of Arts and Crafts--Design as a Priority

2019年(第七届)上海工艺美术圆桌论坛于2019年12月23日在.上海设计美术馆举行。数十位来自产业的设计师、工艺师和来自华东师范大学设计学院、上海大学美术学院、上海第二工业大学艺术设计学院、上海视觉艺术学院、上海工艺美术职业学院、华东理工大学工业设计学院等院校的教授们相聚一堂,就新时代工艺美术的创新转型进行了研讨交流。与会者们结合新中国成立七十周年和学习中共中央十九大四中全会精神,对当下工艺美术的现状进行分析,以及对工艺美术的未来提出发展路径,最终取得共识:工艺美术创新转型,设计必须优先。

On December 23, 2019, the 2019 (Seventh) Shanghai Arts and Crafts Roundtable Forum was held at Shanghai Design Art Gallery. Dozens of designers, craftsmen and professors, who specialize in the arts and crafts industry, happily gathered to discuss about and exchange views upon innovation and transformation of arts and crafts in the new era. They jointly analyzed the current situations of the arts and crafts industry, put forward a development path for the future of arts and crafts, and finally reached a consensus: Priority should be placed to design if innovation and transformation of arts and crafts are urgently required.
