Hercules Slaying the Centaur Nessus is a marble sculpture created by Giambologna in 1599, who was a preeminent Italian sculptor in the late Renaissance Period. This masterpiece is now kept in Loggia dei Lanzi of Piazza della Signoria in Florence, Italy, which depicts such a scene in Greek mythology that the great hero Hercules fought with Centaur Nessus.
