The Historical Review of China’s Notarization and International Union of Notaries(the “UINL”)

中国公证行业于1985年与国际拉丁公证联盟(2005年更名为国际公证联盟)建立了联系。1998年,中国公证员协会(2005年更名为中国公证协会)正式向国际拉丁公证联盟提交加入国际拉丁公证联盟的申请。2001年,国际拉丁公证联盟正式授予中国公证员协会观察员身份。2003年3月14日,国际公证联盟在法国巴黎召开特别会议,批准中国公证员协会加入联盟,中国成为国际公证联盟第71个成员国。同年10月10日,国际公证联盟在加拿大魁北克市召开年会,为中国公证员协会举行入盟仪式。

China's notarization initially established connections with the International Union o f Latin Notaries(renamed International Union of Notaries in 2005,)in 1985.In 1998,the Association of Notaries of China(renamed China Notary Association in 2005)formally applied to join the UINL.In 2001,the UINL officially granted observer status to the Association of Notaries of China.On March 14,2003,the UINL convened a special meeting in Paris,France,approving the Association of Notaries of China as one o f its members.Thus,China became the 71 st UINL member.On October 10,2003,the UINL held its annual meeting in Quebec City,Canada,at which there was an accession ceremony for the Association of Notaries of China.
