目前朝鲜正大力推进元山—金刚山国际旅游区、茂峰国际旅游特区、元山葛麻海岸旅游区、青水旅游开发区、稳城岛旅游开发区等旅游特区及旅游开发区的建设。为了吸引更多的国内外投资商前来投资,朝鲜政府制定了相应的战略目标,包括开发更多富有特色的旅游资源;突出地区特色,大力推进国际化旅游特区及旅游开发区的建设;更加重视对旅游资源及环境的保护;推出具有特色的主题旅游产品;重视旅游人才培养及服务质量提升;加强对外宣传,吸引国外投资。

North Korea vigorously promotes the construction of tourism special zones and tourism development zones such as The Mountain Wonsan-Mountain Kumgang International Tourism Zone, Maofeng International Tourism Special Zone, Wonsan Gema Coast Tourism Zone, Qingshui Tourism Development Zone, and Wencheng Island Tourism Development Zone. In order to attract more domestic and foreign investors, North Korean government has formulated corresponding strategies. It will develop more tourism resources with multiple characteristics, highlight regional characteristics and vigorously promote the construction of international tourism special zones and tourism development zones. It will strengthen the protection of tourism resources and the environment, launch distinctive tourism products, and pay more attention to the cultivation of tourism talents and the improvement of service quality. Besides, it will strengthen international publicity to attract foreign investment.
