Into the Spiritual World of Translators:The Dialogue on How to Strengthen the Research of Translators

作为翻译过程中居于核心地位并发挥能动作用的主体,翻译家是翻译活动最为活跃的因素之一,为跨文化交流与人类文明发展做出了重要贡献。但由于翻译本身具有的一些特性及人们对翻译认识的局限,翻译家的普遍存在状态往往是隐形的,翻译家研究亟待加强。据此,本文提出应重新认识翻译家的在场,并在这一基础上深刻把握翻译本质与翻译价值、积极评价翻译家的历史贡献、深入探索翻译家的精神世界、切实关注并依据第一手资料考察翻译过程等方面,就如何加强翻译家研究展开探讨。

Translators,as with their most active and core role in translation,have made great contributions to cross-cultural communications and the development of human civilization.But their research strongly needs to be strengthened for their invisible position due to the characteristics of translation and the lack of its understanding.Accordingly,on the basis of a new understanrding of the translator presence,this paper proposes to explore how to strengthen the research of translators,grasping the translation essence and value,evaluating their historical contributions,exploring their spiritual world,and investigating the translation process with first-hand data.
