This paper expounds the problems in the management and use of SF6 gas,and puts forward the SF6 gas management system including the compilation of guiding principles,investigation and training,standardization and rectification,case database and demonstration site construction,which has been successfully applied.The operation and maintenance units have completed the construction of special storehouse for SF6 gas and the perfection and sorting of gas management data.The gas management level has been improved which avoids the wrong use of SF6 gas and ensures the safety and stability of gas-using equipment.
