摘要
随着社会经济的发展,肥胖、糖尿病、脂肪肝、高血脂和痛风等代谢性疾病的患病率在全球呈现快速上升趋势。这些代谢性疾病可进一步发展为动脉粥样硬化、高血压和冠心病等心血管疾病或肾脏疾病,严重危害人们的身心健康和社会发展。因此,代谢性疾病及其相关心血管疾病已经成为我国公共卫生领域的重大挑战。
Excessive consumption of fructose is a risk factor of metabolic diseases like obesity,hyperlipidemia,hypertension,insulin resistance and gout. Fructose has a distinctive metabolic pathway from glucose,and exerts regulatory effects on glucose and lipid metabolism. As a key transcription factor in fructose metabolism,carbohydrate response element binding protein(ChREBP)has α and β isoforms,and extensively activates the target genes involved in glycolipid metabolism in response to fructose stimulation. Here we review the recent research progress about fructose metabolism and its relationship with metabolic diseases.
