Huizhou mural is an important form of Huizhou school culture.The murals in the ancestral temples with religious themes and the wall paintings scattered in the residential buildings have been preserved up to now.These murals record and carry the profound Huizhou culture,and also reflect the local characteristics of Huizhou.This paper summarizes the background,artistic causes and mural value of the colorful murals of the Huizhou school’s characters,trying to analyze the characteristics of figure painted murals,carefully combs and studies its internal and external values,further reflects its influence and enlightenment on modern painting creation.
