Breeding and Crossbreeding of Mutton Sheep

近年人们膳食水平不断得到改善,消费者对羊肉制品的需求量不断增加,积极发展肉羊养殖产业,已经成为很多农牧民群众发家致富的主要途径之一。改革开放40多年来,我国先后从国外引进了十几种优质肉羊羊种,但仅靠引入肉羊品种对本地羊进行改良,远不能满足生产需求,需要快速培育具有自主知识产权的肉羊绵羊品种,这是解决肉羊养殖问题的关键。该文主要论述肉羊品种选育和杂交利用的技术措施。

In recent years,people’s diet level has been improved continuously,the demand of consumers for mutton products has been increasing,and the active development of mutton sheep breeding industry has become one of the main ways for many farmers and herdsmen to get rich.Over the past 40 years of reform and opening up,China has introduced more than a dozen highquality mutton sheep breeds from abroad,but the local sheep can not meet the production demand by introducing only mutton sheep breeds,it is necessary to breed mutton sheep with independent intellectual property right,which is the key to solve the breeding problem of mutton sheep.This paper mainly discusses the technical measures of breed selection and cross utilization of mutton sheep.
