叶恭绰、福开森与民初北京的艺术品展览会

Ye Gongchuo,Ferguson and Beijing Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition in Early Years of the Republic of China

叶恭绰是第一次和第二次京师书画展览会的主要组织者之一,且与福开森一样都曾出借藏品参加第二次京师书画展览会。福开森还留下了关于1923年晋赈书画古物展览会和1924年第三次中日联合绘画展览会的英文记载。笔者认为,梳理现存的叶恭绰、福开森与民初北京的艺术品展览会相关的文献,有助于学界深化对于民初鉴藏史的认知。

Ye Gongchuo was one of the main organizers of the first and second Beijing Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition,and he once lent his collection to participate in the second session like John Calvin Ferguson.Ferguson also left English records on the Shanxi Disaster Relief Painting,Calligraphy and Antique Exhibition in 1923 and the third Sino-Japanese Joint Painting Exhibition in 1924.As far as I’m concerned,the review of existing literature related to Ye Gongchuo,Ferguson and the art exhibitions in Beijing in the early Republic of China will help the academic community to deepen the cognition of the connoisseur and collection history of the early Republic of China.
