Moral Embedding in Artificial Intelligence

人工智能能否成为道德主体面临着众多质疑,强人工智能的兴起及其对人类智能的极大增强与可能超越使得人类高度重视并赋予其道德主体资格与权利。我们必须为智能机器嵌入道德准则,但又面临着三重难题:一是程序员本人的道德取向与品质;二是为智能机器嵌入何种道德准则,例如无人驾驶所面临的道德悖论;三是不同智能体之间如何达成道德妥协。人机融合与责任伦理将是未来时代应对智能机器的有效路径。

Whether artificial intelligence can become a moral subject faces many questions,but strong artificial intelligence is constantly emerging.It greatly enhances and possibly surpasses human intelligence,which forces humans to attach great importance to artificial intelligence and give it the qualifications and rights of the moral subject.We must embed moral rules for intelligent machines,but at the same time face three difficulties:one is the moral orientation and quality of programmers;the other is what moral rules should be embedded in intelligent machines.For example,driverless cars face serious moral paradoxes.The third is how to reach a moral compromise between different agents.Human-machine integration and responsibility ethics are effective ways to deal with intelligent machines in the future.
