四川广元市水柜村南宋王光祖墓

The Southern Song Dynasty Tomb of Wang Guangzu at Shuigui Village,Guangyuan City,Sichuan

为配合广元市水柜路北沿线工程建设,2013年12月至2014年1月,四川省文物考古研究院联合广元市文物局和广元市博物馆,发掘了四川省广元市利州区东坝街道办事处水柜村三组的一座南宋墓(编号为2013GSM1)。墓葬所在的小地名为吴家山,地处一座土山的山腰,前方50米处即为水柜村三组居民区(图一)。现将本次发掘的情况简报如下。一、墓葬形制该墓为双室石室墓,墓向为187度。

A Southern Song stone chamber tomb was discovered at Shuigui Village,Guangyuan,Sichuan during the 2013-2014 season.The rectangular tomb pit contains double stone chambers.The unearthed epitaph indicates that the tomb represents the joint burial of Wang Guangzu,an anti-Jin general of the Southern Song Dynasty,and his wife.Few grave goods survived from multiple instances of looting throughout history.A vast amount of relief carvings were found on the side walls and rear niches of the tomb.The carvings depict scenes of filial sons,flowers,warriors,and servants.The epitaph provides important information regarding research into the Wang family and military history in early Southern Song dynasty,as well as related art historical issues.
