Heath-Carter somatotype of Yao ethnicity in Guangxi

目的:研究广西瑶族成人的体型特点。方法:应用Heath-Carter体型法对广西瑶族成人(男性275例,女性383例)进行体型研究。结果:瑶族男性与女性的平均体型值分别为3.7-5.3-1.5和5.9-5.3-0.9,体型类型分别为偏内胚层的中胚层体型和偏中胚层的内胚层体型。线性相关分析显示,男性、女性内因子均与年龄呈正相关,外因子与年龄呈负相关;男性中因子与年龄无相关,女性中因子与年龄呈正相关。单因素方差分析显示,男、女性3个因子值年龄组间的差异均具有统计学意义。结论:随着年龄增长,瑶族男性30岁、女性40岁以后体型出现了明显的变化,女性年龄组间差异比男性更明显。

Objective:To analyze the adult somatotype characteristics of Yao ethnicity in Dayaoshan Guangxi province.Methods:The somatotype of Yao people(275 males,383 females)in Laibin of Guangxi province was analyzed by Heath-Carter method.Results:The mean somatotypes of males and females of Yao ethnicity were 3.7-5.3-1.5 and 5.9-5.3-0.9,which belonged to endomorphic mesomorph and mesomorphic endomorph respectively.Linear correlation analysis showed that both male and female internal factors were positively correlated with age,while external factors were negatively correlated with age.There was no correlation between male factors and age,but there was a positive correlation between female factors and age.One-way variance showed that the differences between the three factor values of males and females were statistically significant.Conclusion:With the increase of age,the body shapes of males and females of Yao ethnicity change obviously after 30 and 40,respectively and the difference between female age groups is more obvious than that of males.
