摘要
"谓语动词"是一个重要的语法术语,理当在EFL教学中发挥重要作用.然而大量文献研读和调查研究却发现:由于理据不足、概念不清,该术语的涵义至今含糊;涵义含糊会导致学生难以学会复杂谓语、难以克服汉语连动负迁移以及教师职业倦怠等问题,因而急需处理.应对策略包括两部分,首先加强理据推导、理清概念涵义,以便正本溯源,有理有据;然后提高应用效率,以便让EFL教学提高学习趣味及学习实效.
"Predicate verb",an important grammatical term,is expected to play an important role in EFL learning.However,literature studies and investigations have shown that the meaning of the term is always vague due to weak motivation and unclear concept and that vague connotation leads to students'difficulties in learning complex predicates and overcoming the negative transfer of the Chinese application of several verbs and teachers'occupational burnout.It is an effective strategy to consolidate the motivation,clarify the connotation and improve the application efficiency,which can bring about powerful reference and higher learning interest and effectiveness.
