The paper explores the application of the Tibetan geometric decorative patterns to the public graphic design of the Sichuan-Tibet Railway which helps to realize and promote the unique regional expression of the public graphic of the Sichuan-Tibet Railway. Through literature research, the cultural connotation and value significance of Tibetan geometric decorative patterns are analyzed. Combined with the examples of the application of a large number of Tibetan geometric decorative patterns, the classification characteristics and structural forms are analyzed. Cases are used to analyze the design principles and the specific application of Tibetan geometric decorative patterns in the public graphic design of Sichuan-Tibet Railway.
