Experience of TCM master BAN Xiu-wen in the treatment of gynecological miscellaneous diseases

Professor BAN Xiu-wen,a master of traditional Chinese medicine,specializes in the treatment of gynecologic diseases.In his 70 years of clinical work,he found that gynecologic miscellaneous diseases are mainly these eight kinds:infertility,vaginal itching,postoperative syndromes,prurigo,hysteria,sexual intercourse hemorrhage,vaginal blowing,acute mastitis,etc..For the prevention and treatment of gynecologic miscellaneous diseases,BAN Xiu-wen pays special attention to the influence of emotion,environment and diet on diseases.In the treatment of gynecologic miscellaneous diseases,BAN Xiu-wen often treats the disease dialectically according to the particularity of the disease,aiming at the condition of the disease,and integrates the differentiation of six meridians of ZHANG Zhong-jing into the treatment,resulting in curing persistent ailments.BAN Xiu-wen also drew on the strengths of ancient and modern prescriptions and secret recipes to create clinically effective prescriptions such as Rougan Zhiyang Decoction and Jiedu Zhiyang Decoction.
