This article introduces the working principle and common faults of the pull switch for emergency stop commonly used on belt conveyors in underground mines.A comprehensive and detailed analysis of the causes of equipment failures was made,and a reasonable method for troubleshooting was proposed.It is proposed that the daily inspection and regular maintenance of the pull switch for emergency stop must be strengthened to ensure that the belt conveyor stops operation in time in the event of an emergency.
