基于应用型人才培养的化工专业英语教学方法探索

Exploration of English Teaching Method for Chemical Engineering Specialty Based on the Training of Applied Talents

英语是一项用于国际交流的重要工具,基于应用型人才培养战略,为提高化工专业学生英语课程质量,我们要进行一系列的教学方法调研、探索与改进。鉴于应适应高校应用性质教学要求,首先我们对该课程的特点和重要程度做出详细阐述,进而结合目前高校在教学过程中的现状和问题,对化工专业英语课程从多个方面进行改进,包含教学方法、课程设置、教材内容、考核方式、应用需求等多个方面,然后针对各项进行提升和改革,探索出一条可以与当前应用型人才要求相匹配的化工专业英语教学新途径,在良好的专业英语学习氛围中,使学生的专业英语应用能力水平可以得到显著提高,这样的应用型技术人才不仅满足了社会需求,在我国化工产业的良好发展方面也具有重大且深远的意义。

English is an important tool for international communication.Basecl on the strategy of cultivating applied talents,in order to improve the quality of English course for chemical engineering majors,a series of teaching methods should be investigated,explored and improved.In view of the need to adapt to the teaching requirements of applied nature in colleges and universities,first of all,we elaborate on the characteristics and importance of the course.Then,combined with the current situation and problems in the teaching process in colleges and universities,we improve the English course for chemical engineering specialty from many aspects,including teaching methods,curriculum settings,textbook contents and examiners.Then,aiming at the improvement and reform of various aspects,a new way of teaching chemical professional English is explored,which can match the current requirements of applied talents.In a good atmosphere of professional English learning,students’ professional English application ability can be significantly improved.Applied technical talents not only meet the social needs,but also have great and far-reaching significance in the good development of China’s chemical industry.
