高阳织布业以清末振兴实业为契机,自高阳商会成立至抗战爆发30年间,高阳织布业在生产原料、生产技术、生产工具、生产组织制度等方面均有突破,逐渐走出家庭副业形式,发展成为近代乡村工业的典范。近代高阳织布业的兴衰起伏与国家乃至世界经济政治形势的变化息息相关,是清末振兴实业、发展工商的产物。

In the late Qing Dynasty, taking the opportunity of revitalization of industry, Gaoyang weaving industry has made breakthroughs in raw materials, production technology, production tools, production and organization system over 30 years from the establishment of Gaoyang Chamber of Commerce to the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War. It has gradually stepped out of the family sideline form and developed into a model of modern rural industry. Its rise and fall were closely related with the change of state and the world economic and political situation. Gaoyang weaving industry was the product of rejuvenating industry and developing industry in the late Qing Dynasty.
